LOS ANGELES (Billboard) - Two days before "Mamma Mia!" opened in North American theatres, the soundtrack to the ABBA-inspired musical romance charted higher than any ABBA album.
Doug and I played hooky to watch Mamma Mia, the movie. We loved it! Loved it!! And believe it or not the theatre was nearly packed (for a 1pm matinee this is unusual) and the movie got huge applause at the end. We are now listening to the soundtrack that we bought on the way home, and have just decided to go out for a latte before we pick Sash up at daycare. It is that kind of day. I have never felt the urge to visit Greece...but after watching this movie, I MUST MUST MUST go.

i have just seen it at yesterdya's matinee!!! its fabulous..doesnt it leave you feeling like dancing in platform shoes??!!
Greece is a must see place but definitely avoid the british-invaded isles.
Spinakopita and baklava never tasted soooo good served by greek islanders!
