hey it looks awesome...have wifi, will travel (on the e-news front). as for Thai food, you'll jsut have to maggiemee it lah!
How to wi-fi if there is no running electricity?? But will definitely be stocking up on maggi.
Can you not have a power generator? Will a wireless router not work on power generator (with back-up)?
And to be cut-off from the world has its advantages.
p.s Never forget the blackberry - so you'll always be on GPRS/3G :)
Nina, the cottage is powered by propane and a noisy generator. But the generator is only used for enough light to play board games before bed, to power UV light water purifier system and water pump (for next day) and thats about it I think. The fridge and oven is propane powered. I guess we could figure out if we can get enough wifi just for an hour a day.. We stopped using the blackberry as the roaming charges were phenomenal..we kept getting rubbish email pushed to us every 3 minutes in Europe..ouch.
